Dr. Sarah Murray

Founder

Dr. Murray is the founder of the Murray Center for Behavioral Wellness and the BestU clinic. She earned her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago, Illinois and is a trained clinical psychologist and neuropsychologist. Dr. Murray believes strongly in the health and well-being of the whole person. She founded BestU with her friend and fellow health advocate, Amy Orlando, in an effort to deliver shame-free, person-centered and integrative health to all of those interested in achieving their best selves.

Amy Orlando, B.A.

Co-founder

Amy is a trained educator and has also successfully delivered health services to the Murray Center for Behavioral Wellness as their marketing and development strategist. Amy noticed a need in the community to deliver health services to those seeking a collaborative and integrative approach to their health care. As co-founder of BestU, Amy believes in giving each person the care they request and the care they deserve. She believes that a cooperative and open relationship between a provider and patient is what delivers your Best You.

Lindsey Bixler, AGPCNP-BC

Clinical Director, BestU 

Lindsey is a board certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Lindsey's scope involves the majority of the lifespan, from ages 13 and on. Lindsey is a double-bachelors, double-masters who completed her nurse practitioner program at the University of Michigan. Lindsey completed her undergraduate at Michigan State University, leaving her torn between the blue and the green. Lindsey believes in treating the whole person. She has extensive experience in evidenced-based integrative medicine. Lindsey's philosophy and approach to medicine is based on the idea that patients should have a say in their care and she prioritizes your values and needs in making sure you get the treatment that feels right for you. During her time at U of M, Lindsey was brought on to teach NP courses, was nominated to represent the Research, Scholarship, and Innovation Symposium Planning Committee, and served as a graduate mentor and guest speaker. Lindsey has also served as Ambassador of the College of Nursing and received an award for outstanding clinical work. Lindsey's past clinical work includes an extensive rotation at Promedica Toledo Weight Loss and Bariatric Surgery. Lindsey is the clinical director of the Murray Center's BestU clinic, focusing on weight loss and integrative care.
